Policies and guides your staff can actually find.
Policies, how-tos and the things people ask every week, organised into categories and searchable by keyword, with a rich-text editor and a cover image for the people who write them.
The Hub, the search and the writing are on every plan. The Copilot is Command and HQ.
Do gloves count instead of washing between patients?
No. Since the September protocol, glove use no longer replaces hand hygiene between patients, and the five-moment audit runs weekly rather than monthly.

- Ward handover standardClinical protocols
It matches the wording of your question against the wording of your articles, so it finds what you have written rather than what you meant.
Categories your admins define, and nothing you did not write.
Every plan includes a Knowledge Hub where employees can browse and read published articles organised into categories.

- Updated hand-hygiene protocol
- Sharps disposal and needlestick reporting
- Booking annual leave on a rotating roster
Kayden supplies none of this. The Hub starts empty on every plan, and every article in it is one your own people wrote.
Three people, and what each of them gets.
- Dr Tessa PalmerHead of clinical governance
Writes the protocol once, in a real editor, and makes it required from the same place rather than exporting it somewhere else first.
Comms Admin - Simon NaylorRegistered nurse
Asks the Copilot what the glove rule is between patients, and gets an answer that names the three articles it came from, so he can open the real one.
- Laura KentWard lead, Nursing
Finds the handover standard by typing two words from its title. She can read every article and edit none of them, which is the point of a policy library.
Five things, and the plan each one needs.
- Browse it by category
Published articles organised into categories that your admins define, readable by everybody in the workspace.
Every plan - Search across titles and bodies
Type a word you remember from the title or the text and get the articles that contain it.
Every plan - Write it in a real editor
Super Admins and Comms Admins write, edit, publish and delete articles with a rich-text editor and a cover image.
Every plan - Ask the Copilot, and see its sources
Ask a question in your own words and it answers from your own Knowledge Hub, showing which articles it used. The sources are the feature: an answer you can open and check beats an answer you have to trust.
Command · HQ - Required reading lives here
A policy becomes a requirement with a due date and an acknowledgement, without leaving the Hub.
Every plan
What the Hub does not do.
Every line here traces to something in the code, including the parts it would be easier to leave out.
- The Hub holds the current article
Editing one replaces what was there, and nothing keeps the earlier text for you to compare against. Articles carry a category and no tags. It is a policy library, not a document management system, and it is not sold as one.
- Search matches letters, not meaning
It is case-insensitive substring matching on the title and the body. There is no stemming, so a plural may not find a singular; no synonyms, so a rota will not find a roster; and no relevance ranking beyond view count.
- The Copilot matches your wording against your articles
It scores keyword overlap across the five closest articles rather than understanding the question, so it finds what you have written and not what you meant. You open it and ask; it never watches anything or surfaces anything on its own.
- Spark caps the library at fifty articles
Command and HQ have no limit. And the fifty is a ceiling on what your team writes: Kayden supplies no starter articles, so the Hub begins empty on every plan.
What sits either side of the Hub.
- Required readingTurn an article here into an obligation with an audience, a due date and a named confirmation.
- AnnouncementsSay the policy changed. The announcement stays short because the detail lives in the Hub.
- AI, inside the EUWhere the Copilot runs, which region it runs in, and what it is not allowed to do.
Put the answer where people are already looking.
Kayden Connect is invitation-only before launch. Tell us about your workforce and we will show you the demonstration workspace.
