A 14-day trial begins at general availability: add a card at signup, get full access to your selected tier, and cancel before day 14 if it is not a fit, with no charge. During early access the founder onboards each invited team hands-on.
Annual billing is 20% off the monthly price on Spark and Command. HQ is annual-only. There is no public promotional discount — annual billing is the only standing discount.
If you have not added a payment method by day 14, your workspace locks. Your data is not deleted right away: you can export it at any time, and we email a reminder before anything is removed.
Yes. Switch up or down at any time and we prorate to the day. You only pay for what you used at the previous tier.
Card, ACH debit (US) and SEPA direct debit (EU) via Stripe — bank debit matters on annual HQ invoices, where card limits get in the way. Stripe Tax handles VAT and sales tax automatically, and annual HQ contracts can be invoiced. Stripe is our sole payment gateway in V1.

Yes. We migrate you from Workplace, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, and most CSV-based exports. It is a founder-led, white-glove migration — see the migration page for supported formats. A self-serve migration wizard is on the post-launch roadmap.
Google and Microsoft SSO are included on every paid tier at GA. SAML 2.0 SSO and SCIM 2.0 provisioning are on the V1.5 roadmap (post-launch) for the HQ tier.
EU data residency (europe-west1) by default, encrypted at rest and in transit, with app-layer tenant isolation enforced from the auth token on every request (database-layer row-level security is on the roadmap). HQ adds an append-only audit log (tamper-evident storage is on the roadmap). Our SOC 2 Type I audit is in progress, with Type II to follow.
