Acceptable Use Policy
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all use of the Kayden Connect platform and is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. It exists to keep the platform safe for every customer and the people who depend on it.
You are responsible for the activity of all Users in your Tenant. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
Prohibited Content
You may not upload, post, transmit, or store content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors
- Infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party
- Contains malware, ransomware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Contains personal data you are not legally permitted to process, including special category data without an appropriate legal basis
- Contains payment-card data, government-issued identifiers, or protected health information that you are not contractually authorised to store on the platform
Prohibited Activity
You may not use the Service to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, marketing spam, chain mail, or content that violates anti-spam law
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without prior written permission, or breach any security or authentication measure
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including denial-of-service attacks
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent permitted by mandatory applicable law
- Crawl, scrape, or use automated means to access the Service or extract content, except via documented APIs in accordance with their published rate limits
- Bulk-export, mirror, or republish tenant content outside the documented data export tooling
- Resell, lease, or sublicense access to the Service without our prior written agreement
- Use the Service to develop a competing product, including by training a machine learning model on the Service’s output
Export Controls & Sanctions
The Service is provided from the United States and is subject to U.S. export-control laws. You may not access or use the Service if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, a country or region subject to a comprehensive U.S. embargo, or if you are on the U.S. Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals list, the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons or Entity List, or any equivalent restricted party list maintained by the United Nations, the European Union, or the United Kingdom.
You will not use the Service in connection with any activity prohibited by applicable export controls or economic sanctions.
Reporting Violations
If you believe content or activity on the Service violates this AUP, please email legal@kaydenconnect.com with the URL, screenshot, or other evidence. We investigate every report.
Consequences
Violations of this AUP may result in any of the following at our discretion:
- A written warning and request to cure
- Removal of the offending content
- Suspension of the affected account or Tenant
- Termination of the Subscription, in accordance with the Terms of Service
- Cooperation with law-enforcement requests, where legally required
Severe violations, including illegal activity, exploitation of minors, or attacks on our platform — may result in immediate suspension without prior notice.
