Data Processing Addendum
Overview
Kayden Connect LLC offers a Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) to business customers in regulated jurisdictions, including those subject to the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, the South African Protection of Personal Information Act, and similar laws.
Our DPA describes how Kayden Connect, as a processor, processes personal data on behalf of the customer (the controller), defines the security and confidentiality obligations, and incorporates the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers where applicable.
How to Request a DPA
To receive a copy of our DPA for execution, email legal@kaydenconnect.com from the address associated with your Tenant Administrator account. Please include:
- Your registered legal entity name and address
- Your workspace name and the workspace slug you chose during setup
- Jurisdiction(s) for which the DPA is required
- The signing authority’s name and title
We respond to DPA requests as quickly as we can. We do not commit to a fixed turnaround during early access. Requests from customers on the HQ plan are handled first.
International Transfers
For transfers of personal data from the EEA, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to third countries that have not received an adequacy decision, our DPA incorporates the relevant module of the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Our transfer impact assessment and the per-sub-processor transfer bases are still being completed; ask us for their current status.
Sub-processors
The current list of sub-processors is published at /legal/sub-processors. The DPA grants you general authorisation to engage these sub-processors; we update that page before engaging a new sub-processor that processes customer personal data, and you can subscribe to email notification of changes, and object to a new sub-processor, by writing to legal@kaydenconnect.com.
